This is a space where you’ll be met with warmth, true understanding, and respect for your full story. At the heart of my approach is compassion: I understand. It’s hard to hide yourself from the people who say they love you and to navigate your identity in an unsupportive, unaccepting world.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Qualified Supervisor with a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Social Work, and over 15 years of experience. You don’t need to explain everything—I recognize the weight of unspoken struggles. How do virtual sessions work?
We meet by secure Zoom video. You just need a private, comfortable space. Virtual sessions are flexible, confidential, and designed to help you feel supported and at ease as we explore what matters most to you, so you can begin to feel at home in yourself, more confident in your life.
What happens in the First Step Session?
It’s a 15–20 minute session by Zoom or phone, designed to be low-pressure and fully supportive. You’ll have space to be heard, share what’s on your mind, and ask questions. I’ll offer next steps and you choose what feels right. The goal is to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered.
There’s absolutely no pressure to commit. The First Step Session is a space to explore and feel supported. If you’d like to move forward, great. If not, that’s okay too. You are always in control of what happens next.
Is it safe to talk about personal or sensitive topics?
Yes. This space is here for you to bring whatever feels personal, vulnerable, or hard to talk about. You won’t be judged or rushed. What you share stays private and is held with complete confidentiality, care, and deep respect for your emotional safety.
How much does therapy cost?
The First Step Session is free. Full therapy sessions are $160. I’m not in-network with insurance, but I can provide a superbill if you’d like to request reimbursement. I’m happy to talk through cost and options with care and transparency.
Do you take insurance?
Yes, I do. I take most major insurances. such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna and United Healthcare. If you don’t have insurance, sessions are $150 an hour.
